The role oversees testing, deployment, and training, with a focus on improving patient care and data-driven decision making in a complex health system. Strong leadership and change-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical informatics strategy, data management, analytics, and training initiatives to optimize patient care.
• Analyze and interpret diverse data sets from Clinical Data Warehouse, VISTA, VSSC, Pyramid Analytics to support care delivery.
• Oversee Cerner EHR implementation and integration across VACCHCS facilities.
• Serve as change-management leader to evaluate, streamline, and enhance data processes in clinical and admin areas.
• Provide direct patient care that is compassionate, effective, and appropriate.
• Apply advanced biomedical, clinical, and social science knowledge to clinical care and staff education.
• Drive user experience improvements, workflow redesign, and technology adoption across sites.
• Support compliance with information security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and respect.
• Other executive duties as assigned.
