Job description

Chief Buildings is seeking a Packager to join the Chief team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufactured items are ready for shipment by packaging, sealing, labeling, and preparing items for transport.
• Perform quality inspections and touch up with paint as needed.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on assigned machines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and data entry accurately.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Basic understanding of hand tools, calculators, and computers.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math.

Shift

• 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
