Chief Industries, Inc Careers - Maintenance Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Mechanical knowledge, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and some basic electrical skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Basic welding experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, strong math, and report writing abilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Perform duties safely and efficiently, using required safety equipment. Keep work area neat and report unsafe conditions. Properly utilize PPE and lock out/tag out procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform necessary repairs.
• Read equipment manuals, drawings, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures accurately for repairs and adjustments.
• Perform construction, plumbing, concrete, and carpentry work for building repairs or reconstruction.
• Requisition needed parts and supplies.
• Maintain good time management and communication skills.
• Capable of working at heights up to 20 feet.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Complete routine paperwork and data entry related to job responsibilities.

Shift

• 2nd Shift - 4:30 pm to 3:00 am
