Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred).
• 7-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in human services or nonprofit management.
• Experience in strategic planning, financial management, board relations, compliance, and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor all program activities in alignment with Board policies and organization purpose.
• Act as link to Board; inform on community needs and modify programs as necessary.
• Attend Board and committee meetings; provide counsel and follow-through on assignments.
• Plan and prepare the annual budget with Finance Committee; adhere to budget.
• Maintain comprehensive financial, personnel, and administrative records with controls.
• Oversee quality of contracted services and schedule calendar of events.
• Select and supervise staff and office personnel.
• Foster staff development and policy participation.
• Maintain firm but receptive leadership while upholding standards.
• Represent the organization in community, regional, and national committees; stay ahead of industry trends.
• Enhance organization image via community events and external relations.
• Assist Board in documenting budgetary needs for funding sources.
