Job summary

The Combined Jewish Philanthropies seeks a Director of Research and Evaluation to shape organizational learning and impact assessment. You will lead design, data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform strategy and decision-making across programs and partners.

You will manage complex studies, coordinate across departments, and translate insights into clear recommendations while maintaining rigorous methodologies and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics, public policy, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of research/evaluation experience in nonprofit, human services, or government settings.
• 1+ year of project management experience preferred.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee evaluation frameworks, logic models, and measurement plans.
• Lead data collection, analysis, and synthesis to inform leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Present findings and craft reports for senior leaders and external partners.
