A leading HR consulting firm is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to drive strategic HR leadership and transformation. This role requires extensive experience in higher education, with responsibilities for aligning HR strategy, enhancing service delivery, and building strong relationships within the campus community. Candidates should have over 10 years of HR leadership experience, including five in a higher education environment. The position offers a competitive salary range of $155,000 - $165,000 and benefits including a profit-sharing program.
CampusWorks is seeking a strategic, customer-focused HR leader to lead the strategic and tactical human resources activities and systems onsite at our partner institution.
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for aligning HR strategy with institutional goals, transforming HR services to enhance operational maturity, and developing strong relationships across the campus community. This role requires deep knowledge of higher education operations, HR systems, and compliance, coupled with the expertise to lead HR teams and initiatives effectively. Serving as both a hands-on HR executive and trusted consultant, the CHRO manages the client relationship onsite while maintaining strong connections with CampusWorks. This leader drives HR best practices to improve service delivery, employee experience, and institutional alignment.

Salary: $155,000 - $165,000 a year. The estimated base salary range for this job is $155,000 - $165,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that CampusWorks reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; required travel; and other business, contractual, and organizational needs.
The job is eligible to participate in CampusWorks’ annual profit-sharing program and benefits offerings, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k retirement plan, and other health and wellness plans. The salary range information is provided in accordance with salary transparency laws that are currently in effect and may be updated in the future.
