Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold an MD, DO or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Arizona.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for medical staff membership at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix.
• Greater than 5 years of progressively complex administrative experience in an academic medical center setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the division.
• Oversee planning, policy, operations, and oversight of academic, research, and clinical programs.
• Manage division budget, funding, and financial matters in line with university policies.
• Recruitment and retention of division faculty reporting to the chief.
• Collaborate with College of Medicine - Phoenix and clinical partners across entities.
