MaineHealth is seeking a Medical Director & Chief, Division of Geriatric Medicine at Maine Medical Center. This leadership role aligns clinical excellence with strategic goals, guiding inpatient and outpatient geriatrics across the Southern Region and the health system.
Flexibility includes teaching, nursing home care, and innovative care models. Responsibilities span clinical operations, provider supervision, quality and safety, strategic planning, and education.
Competenze
- MD/DO degree required.
- Rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- Minimum 7–10 years of clinical practice.
- Minimum 5 years in medical leadership.
Mansioni
- Lead clinical operations across practices and sites with division leadership.
- Directly manage physicians and advanced practice professionals; promote career development.
- Champion quality improvement and safety initiatives in patient care.
- Partner on strategic planning and outreach to expand services.
- Support education for care teams, learners, and new providers.
- Coordinate academic activities including grand rounds and education leadership.
