Job summary

Billings Leadership Foundation in Billings, MT seeks a Development Director to lead strategic fundraising across major gifts, annual giving, foundations, and donor stewardship. You will partner with the CEO and serve on the Executive Leadership Team to drive philanthropic revenue and organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible fundraising leadership.
• Demonstrated success securing major gifts and institutional funding.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and fundraising strategy.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to faith-based values as indicated by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy and annual fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage donor portfolio and oversee major gifts, proposals, and stewardship.
• Oversee grant strategy, reporting, and foundation relations.
• Direct annual campaigns, capital campaigns, sponsorships, and donor engagement.
• Ensure accurate donor records, dashboards, and forecasting.
• Develop and coach Development Department staff and cross‑department collaboration.
