Job summary

Caminar, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Chief Development & Marketing Officer to lead fundraising and brand strategy.

The role reports to the CEO and serves on the Executive Leadership Team, guiding the organization’s philanthropic revenue strategy and marketing to advance Caminar's mission in behavioral health across Northern California. You will oversee Development, Grants, Marketing and Communications, build payer partnerships, and drive data-driven decision making to optimize donor engagement

Qualifications

• 12+ years in nonprofit development and fundraising leadership.
• 5+ years in senior executive or VP-level role.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred.
• Track record of personally closing major gifts at six- and seven-figure levels.
• Deep expertise across major gifts, planned giving, annual fund, foundations and corporate relations.
• Strong marketing and brand instincts to support fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive Caminar's philanthropic revenue strategy and fundraising ROI.
• Lead Development, Grants, Marketing and Communications teams.
• Develop payer-facing value propositions and relationships with payers.
• Oversee branding, communications, and digital campaigns in service of fundraising goals.
• Present bi-monthly fundraising dashboards to CEO and Board with pipeline and revenue metrics.
• Manage departmental budgets andTalent development to maximize fundraising performance.
