About the Role:

We are partnering with a private equity-backed company to identify a strategic and execution-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, financial visibility, and long-term value creation through partnership with the CEO, PE sponsor, and broader leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of finance including FP&A, accounting, treasury, reporting, audit, and compliance
• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and private equity sponsor on financial performance, growth strategy, and capital structure
• Implement scalable systems and processes to improve financial reporting, controls, and operational KPIs
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
• Lead M&A execution including due diligence, integration, and synergy tracking
• Support lender and sponsor reporting, covenant compliance, and board presentations
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team to support current operations and future growth

Qualifications:

• Significant experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
• Strong background in financial operations, cash management, M&A, and performance metrics
• Proven success managing relationships with private equity sponsors, lenders, and boards
• Experience driving system implementations or financial infrastructure upgrades
• CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
