As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Singapore to join our executive team and lead the financial operations of our regional and global business.

Job Description

As the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial management for Asia operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. You will work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to drive sustainable growth, ensure strong financial governance, and support key strategic initiatives across our education network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
    Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
    Provide sound financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
  • Financial Operations & Planning:
    Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    Oversee cash flow, capital expenditure, and treasury management.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
    Maintain full compliance with Singapore financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g. SFRS, GST, CPF).
  • Risk & Governance:
    Manage risk and compliance policies including audit, controls, and internal governance.
    Oversee relationships with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build and lead the finance and accounting team.
    Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with school leaders, operations, HR, and admissions to ensure financial alignment and performance.
    Support M&A activity, investment evaluations, and financial integration as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership roles globally in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Singapore a plus
  • Experience in the education, hospitality, retail, or services industry a plus.
  • Strong understanding of local and global regulatory and tax environment.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and strategic mindset.
