Job summary

Select Recruiting Group, LLC seeks an accomplished Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth middle-market services organization entering an important expansion phase. The CFO will be a hands-on, commercially minded leader partnering with the CEO and senior leadership to strengthen financial performance and scale infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in finance leadership, CFO or senior VP roles, experience in service sectors, and a track record building scalable finance functions,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting leadership.
• Experience as CFO / VP Finance in a growing middle-market.
• Experience in service industries with operational complexity.
• Strong FP&A, accounting and strategic finance background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Lead all aspects of Finance and Accounting, including FP&A, reporting, treasury and controllership.
• Build scalable financial processes, controls, reporting and infrastructure to support continued growth.
• Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and performance analytics.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and operating metrics that improve visibility and accountability across the organization.
• Partner with operating leadership to identify opportunities for margin expansion, improved cash generation and stronger business performance.
• Support strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions, diligence and integration.
• Lead the continued evolution of financial systems, technology and reporting capabilities.
• Build, develop and lead a high-performing Finance team.
• Provide financial insight and leadership around strategic investments and long-term value creation.

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth, middle-market services organization entering an important next phase of expansion.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded finance executive who can build a scalable finance organization while serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

The CFO will play a critical role in strengthening financial performance, improving visibility across the business, supporting strategic growth initiatives and building the infrastructure required to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting leadership experience.
• Prior experience as a CFO, VP Finance or senior financial executive within a growing middle-market organization.
• Experience within business services, field services, infrastructure services, specialty services or another operationally complex environment.
• Strong foundation in Accounting and Controllership combined with significant FP&A and strategic finance experience.
• Demonstrated success building or upgrading a Finance function to support significant organizational growth.
• Experience supporting M&A, acquisition integration or other strategic transactions.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, operational KPIs and performance management.
• Experience improving financial systems, reporting tools or ERP platforms.
• Comfortable operating as a hands-on executive in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with CEOs and operating leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
