Job summary

Atlantic Group, a growing fintech company, is seeking a highly strategic Chief Financial Officer to partner directly with the founders and executive leadership during a critical growth phase. This role will lead global Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Risk, and Finance Operations to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term shareholder value.

Compensation includes a base of 500k-750k with a 20% bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership with CFO-level responsibilities.
• Public company experience including SEC reporting and SOX.
• Fintech or regulated financial services background.
• Proven track record in cost optimization and scaling.
• Strong with boards, investors, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Oversee public company financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, audits, and governance requirements.
• Drive finance transformation efforts, including process optimization, automation, and scalable infrastructure.
• Manage treasury, liquidity, capital allocation, and balance sheet strategy.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, new product launches, market expansion, investments, and M&A opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to founders, executives, and the Board, providing independent financial and business guidance.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organization across multiple functions and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Background

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including CFO-level or equivalent executive responsibilities.
• Significant public company experience, including SEC reporting, SOX compliance, investor relations, and corporate governance. IPO experience highly valued.
• Background within fintech, financial services, or other regulated, complex organizations.
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvements, cost optimization, profitability initiatives, and organizational scaling.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence founders, boards, investors, and senior stakeholders.
