Job description

The Chief Financial Officer will own global financial strategy and build the financial infrastructure required for profitable, sustainable growth. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leaders, translating financial and operational data into clear decisions on growth, investment, pricing, margin, cash, and risk. This leader will oversee the finance function across multiple subsidiaries and currencies while strengthening forecasting, controls, reporting, and commercial discipline. The ideal candidate is both enterprise-minded and hands-on: equally comfortable shaping long-range strategy, challenging assumptions, and ensuring the fundamentals are executed with accuracy and speed.

Enterprise Strategy and Executive Partnership
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to define enterprise strategy, growth priorities, investment decisions, and the financial roadmap for the business.
  • Provide clear, forward-looking financial insight that helps leaders make faster, higher-quality decisions and understand the financial impact of strategic and operational choices.
  • Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling across global entities, functions, clients, and business lines.
  • Establish decision frameworks and performance measures that connect company strategy to revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, and return on investment.
Commercial Finance and Performance
  • Own enterprise financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, operating expense, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Partner with commercial, creative, development, production, and operations leaders to improve pricing, project economics, client profitability, cost management, and resource allocation.
  • Build visibility into profitability by client, program, category, and geography, identifying risks and opportunities early and driving corrective action.
  • Strengthen financial discipline across inventory, purchase commitments, vendor terms, landed costs, foreign exchange exposure, and complex global supply chains.
  • Develop executive, board, lender, and investor reporting that is concise, accurate, and focused on the decisions and actions that matter most.
Global Accounting Governance and Compliance
  • Provide executive oversight of accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, tax, payroll, audit, and statutory compliance across global subsidiaries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain a scalable internal control environment that safeguards company assets, protects data integrity, and supports responsible growth.
  • Manage external auditors, tax advisors, legal partners, and local consultants, ensuring coordinated, cost-effective support across jurisdictions.
  • Set financial policies, approval authorities, and governance standards that create accountability without slowing the business unnecessarily.
Treasury Capital and Risk
  • Lead global treasury, liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital allocation.
  • Optimize working capital through disciplined oversight of receivables, payables, inventory, client payment terms, and vendor commitments.
  • Identify and manage financial, operational, currency, insurance, compliance, and business-continuity risks; present practical mitigation plans to leadership.
  • Evaluate financing, strategic partnership, acquisition, and other growth opportunities through rigorous financial and commercial analysis.
Systems Data and Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing global finance organization with clear roles, strong succession planning, and a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop finance talent and strengthen business partnership capabilities so the team delivers insight and action, not only reporting.
  • Lead finance systems, data, automation, and process improvements that increase accuracy, shorten reporting cycles, and create a reliable source of truth.
  • Ensure the finance operating model, systems, and team structure can scale with business complexity and growth.
  • Leverage AI to improve process efficiency and automation while preserving individual creativity, judgment, and original thinking.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including meaningful ownership of strategy, planning, accounting, controls, and cash management; prior CFO or senior finance executive experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading finance in a global, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
  • Strong command of financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, tax and compliance, treasury, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect pricing, margin, client economics, inventory, sourcing, and operational decisions to enterprise performance.
  • Proven ability to influence executives, challenge constructively, communicate complex financial matters clearly, and drive decisions across functions and geographies.
  • Track record of building strong teams and scalable processes in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong experience with ERP, planning, reporting, and business intelligence platforms. NetSuite or Oracle experience is preferred.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the willingness to move between strategic leadership and hands‑on execution when the business requires it.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools (i.e. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), with the ability to apply them to streamline workflows, strengthen analysis, and improve business outcomes.
What Success Looks Like
  • Leadership has timely, trusted financial insight and uses it to make sharper growth, investment, and operating decisions.
  • Forecast accuracy, cash visibility, margin performance, and working‑capital discipline improve across the business.
  • Global reporting, controls, compliance, and systems operate consistently and scale with the company.
  • Finance is viewed as a proactive commercial partner that helps teams solve problems, manage risk, and deliver stronger client and business outcomes.
