Camino Search has partnered with a high-growth SaaS business generating ~$10M in annual recurring revenue, which has just taken on its first institutional private equity investment. This is a confidential CFO mandate, representing the first true finance leadership role for the company.

We’re searching for a strategic-yet-hands-on Chief Financial Officer to build the financial foundation that will enable scalable growth. This individual will partner closely with the CEO and new investors to professionalize the finance function, establish robust reporting and controls, and help guide the business through a critical next phase — including potential M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and scale the finance function from the ground up (FP&A, reporting, controls, systems, processes).
• Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, driving performance visibility and financial discipline.
• Build out management reporting, dashboards, and board materials.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Prepare the business for potential M&A or buy-and-build strategies.
• Manage investor relations and covenant compliance with the new PE backers.
• Oversee all accounting, audit, tax, and compliance requirements.

Ideal Profile:

• Experience in a senior finance role within a SaaS or recurring revenue model business.
• Strong technical finance and accounting foundation, but comfortable operating strategically and commercially.
• Previous experience with private equity (either within a PE-backed business or managing investor relations).
• Track record of building finance functions in high-growth environments.
• Comfortable being hands-on — this is not a “big team” environment (yet).
• M&A experience highly desirable.
