Leading finance, FP&A, and accounting, you will partner with the Founder/CEO to drive long‑term planning and scale the business while maintaining discipline in a dynamic, transaction-heavy environment.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and treasury, building scalable processes and strong governance to support continued expansion.

$300,000 - $350,000 Base + Bonus

Our client, a rapidly growing transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a highly strategic Chief Financial Officer to partner directly with the Founder/CEO and executive leadership team.

This is not a maintenance CFO role.

The company has experienced significant growth and is entering its next phase of expansion

Leadership is looking for a finance executive who can help build the infrastructure, visibility, and financial strategy necessary to support continued scaling while maintaining operational discipline.

The ideal candidate combines the leadership presence of a strategic CFO with the hands‑on ability to operate in a fast‑moving, highly transactional environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Partnering directly with the Founder and executive team on growth strategy and long‑term planning
• Leading all finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting functions
• Building scalable financial processes, reporting, and KPI infrastructure
• Providing actionable insights to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and decision‑making
• Managing liquidity and working capital across a transaction‑intensive business
• Enhancing financial systems, reporting tools, and automation capabilities
• Overseeing multiple entities and complex operational reporting requirements
• Supporting banking, insurance, audit, and external advisory relationships
• Leading and developing an existing accounting and finance team
• Serving as a strategic business partner while remaining close enough to the details to drive execution

What We're Looking For

• Proven CFO, SVP Finance, VP Finance, or Divisional CFO experience
• Strong FP&A and operational finance background with a foundation in Accounting
• Experience in high‑growth environments
• Deep understanding of cash flow management and forecasting
• Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, founder‑led organizations
• Experience within highly transactional businesses
• Strong accounting foundation with the ability to oversee close, controls, audits, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated success helping organizations scale

Highly Preferred

• Big 4 CPA foundation
• Transportation, logistics, distribution, business services, field services, or other operationally intensive industries
• Experience within PE‑backed, growth‑stage, or rapidly scaling organizations
• Track record of modernizing finance functions through systems and process improvements
