Job summary

CFS, a stable manufacturing company, seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all finance, HR, IT, and legal functions. You will partner with ownership on growth, acquisitions, and strategic decisions, directing a 4-person accounting team and cross‑functional operations.

You will drive process improvements, manage contract and banking relationships, and shape the organization’s financial discipline and long‑term strategy in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within manufacturing, industrial related environments.
  • Prior CFO, Controller, or senior finance leadership experience with hands-on operational responsibility.
  • Proven background overseeing finance, HR, IT departments and cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management and month-end close.
  • Oversee HR, benefits administration, outsourced IT, insurance programs and key legal relationships.
  • Drive process improvements and restore financial discipline across the organization.
  • Manage contract negotiations, banking relationships, vendor partnerships and strategic business agreements.
  • Advise ownership on growth initiatives, acquisitions, and overall business strategy.

$225,000 to $275,000 per year plus bonus

Key Responsibilities For The Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and month-end close activities. Will manage a team of 4 in accounting as well as IT and HR Manager.
  • Oversee, provide guidance to accounting manager and be involved with the preparation of financials for the 3 separate entities
  • Oversee HR, benefits administration, outsourced IT functions, insurance programs, and key legal relationships
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and restore financial discipline across the organization
  • Manage contract negotiations, banking relationships, vendor partnerships, and strategic business agreements
  • The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key advisor to ownership on growth initiatives, acquisitions, and overall business strategy
Qualifications For The Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within manufacturing, industrial related environments
  • Prior CFO, Controller, or senior finance leadership experience with hands‑on operational responsibility
  • Proven background overseeing finance, HR, IT departments is a must have
  • The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) must have experience negotiating contracts/banking relationships, and cross‑functional business operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
