Job description

Role Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO, CIO, and business leaders to help shape and execute the firm’s next phase of growth. While the scope of the role includes oversight of the firm’s global finance function and core back‑office and business management operations, the precise shape of the role will flex to align with the specific strengths and experience of the individual selected.

We are seeking a CFO who brings deep leadership capability and an enterprise mindset—whether their background is most rooted in strategy, operations, capital markets, business building, product development, or financial stewardship. Regardless of background, the mandate is clear: elevate data‑driven decision making, strengthen financial discipline, modernize financial and operational infrastructure, and contribute meaningfully to long‑term value creation across the enterprise.

The CFO will help lead a complex, multi‑product asset management platform (~$325B AUM), ensuring strong financial controls, regulatory alignment, and scalable operating foundations, while also serving as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership. A critical focus of this role will be advancing financial, data, and operational capabilities—including the thoughtful adoption of AI‑enabled tools and insights—to enhance transparency, agility, and competitive advantage.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Lead the global finance function, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, controllership, treasury, tax, and financial reporting across legal entities and investment vehicles.
  • Oversee financial back‑office and administrative functions, including facilities, procurement, and payroll, while ensuring scale, efficiency, and strong vendor governance.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing forward‑looking financial insights to support growth initiatives, product expansion, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Drive enterprise financial strategy, including long‑range planning, budgeting, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling across asset classes and distribution channels.
  • Lead regulatory, audit, and compliance support from a financial perspective, ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards applicable to asset managers.
  • Own management reporting and performance measurement, delivering clear, actionable insights to the Management Committee and Board.
  • Advance AI and data transformation initiatives within finance and operations, including automation, predictive analytics, real‑time reporting, and AI‑enabled decision support.
  • Modernize finance and back‑office technology platforms, partnering with Technology and Operations to implement scalable, cloud‑based and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Oversee cost management and operating leverage, balancing investment in growth with disciplined expense governance.
  • Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and new product launches, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post‑acquisition value realization.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across functions.
  • Act as a trusted interface with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, rating agencies, and key service providers.
What You Bring to the Team (Required)
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of asset management economics
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI‑enabled transformation
  • Strong strategic orientation

  • Strong executive presence and Board‑level communication skills
