Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of three years of financial management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum of three years of proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting, forecasting, reimbursement, and GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capacity to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Emotional maturity and the ability to function effectively under stress.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to support the hospital’s mission and long-term success.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop goals, strategies, policies, and growth initiatives.
• Direct and oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, forecasts, and analyses to leadership and the Board.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and policies.
• Oversee financial planning, cash management, reimbursement, and capital budgeting activities.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop plans for sustainable growth.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, financial, and organizational information.
• Report safety hazards and participate in required safety and compliance education.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO.

Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership for Riverside Medical Center and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, supporting organizational growth, and helping establish long-range goals, strategies, policies, and financial plans that support the hospital’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of three years of financial management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
