• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Role Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for some work from home. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long‑term financial planning aligned with company strategy. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, monitoring key performance indicators, and advising the leadership team on financial risks and opportunities. The CFO will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, support fundraising and investor relations, implement financial controls and compliance processes, and contribute to pricing, revenue optimization, and cost management initiatives. This role is expected to build and lead the finance function, establish best practices, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
