NU Advisory Partners is leading the search for a senior finance executive to architect and scale the financial foundation of a rapidly growing company. This individual will act as both strategist and operator—guiding resource allocation, optimizing profitability, and embedding financial discipline into every corner of the business. Key Responsibilities

Scaling With Financial Precision

• Define and lead the company’s financial roadmap to support ambitious growth while maintaining operational discipline
• Refine recurring revenue strategies and margin levers through deep financial analysis and performance modeling
• Lead company-wide planning cycles, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term scenario planning
• Build a high-integrity financial backbone through best-in-class systems, controls, and processes
• Oversee core functions including FP&A, accounting, treasury, and reporting with a mindset of speed, accuracy, and audit readiness
• Identify inefficiencies and unlock automation opportunities to accelerate close processes and streamline operations

Optimizing Capital Strategy

• Manage liquidity, capital structure, and funding strategy to support innovation and expansion
• Lead cash flow forecasting and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions
• Evaluate capital markets opportunities, debt/equity financing, and inorganic growth opportunities as needed

Communicating With Clarity

• Craft compelling financial narratives for board materials, investor discussions, and executive updates
• Translate financial performance into actionable insights and forward-looking strategy
• Present key trends, risks, and business drivers clearly and credibly to internal and external stakeholders

Influencing Through Partnership

• Act as a thought partner to the CEO and senior team, embedding financial rigor into strategic and operating decisions
• Collaborate closely with product, sales, and marketing leaders to align spend and resourcing with growth initiatives
• Build, mentor, and scale a best-in-class finance team that thrives on ownership and cross-functional impact

Qualifications & Experience

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including executive leadership roles in scaling companies
• Deep understanding of financial strategy, resource allocation, and operational execution in high-growth environments
• Strong track record of building out FP&A, systems, and controls to support scale and speed
• Proven experience leading teams through budgeting, forecasting, planning, and investor-facing processes
• Experience preparing companies for major milestones (e.g., IPO, capital raises, M&A readiness)
• Skilled at translating complex financial data into strategic insights for boards and investors
• Excellent communication and executive presence; capable of leading at both strategic and tactical levels
• Experience building and leading finance teams in dynamic, fast-paced businesses
• Job based in California; regular in-person collaboration required
