The Director of Finance provides strategic leadership for the Finance Department, managing a budget of over $8 million and supporting over 120 staff members. Reporting to the Executive Director, this key leadership role oversees the fiscal health of programs including Head Start, Community Services, and Public Transportation.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the oversight and leadership of the organization’s Finance Department and its resources. RCCAA currently has a budget of over 8 million dollars and employs over 120 staff. The CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team and reports directly to the executive director.
RCCAA is seeking a CFO who is "team-oriented" to foster a progressive and visionary environment concerning financial planning and awareness within the agency; provide leadership in advancing the organization’s financial strategic direction and ensure that resources are managed in the most beneficial way.
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Certified Management Accounting certification preferred
Experience: Five years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for non-profit fund accounting.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GAAP and OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).

The Chief Financial Officer will be under the direct supervision of the Executive Director. A 90-day written evaluation will be conducted, followed by annual evaluations thereafter.
