General Description:
Tolin Facility Services, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Chief Facilities Engineer to join our Denver, CO. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

Chief Facilities Engineers are focused on service and delivering long-term technical solutions for our clients. They maintain, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and more.

Summary of Job Functions:

  • Maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, generators, primary switch gear, UPS systems), monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
  • Responsible for keeping records of buildings rounds and readings, all engineering logs and engineering data sheets.
  • Responsible for advance training and notification to all contractors so that they are informed and knowledgeable with respect to the building's critical functions and the work they are to perform, including an incident contact response list.
  • Monitors operations and conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the building systems operations and performance.
  • Performs tests and rounds to ensure the proper functioning of building equipment.
  • Performs additional job duties as requested.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Well-rounded background as a Journeyman.
  • Values and display exceptional customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Senior level experience in a building engineer capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Comfortable working on computers.
  • Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing.

Average Starting Rate: $35.00-$40.00 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
