Job summary

Rainier Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality patient care across the organization.

The CEO will supervise the Leadership Team, manage budgets, engage with the community and medical staff, and collaborate to deliver excellent clinical outcomes while fostering a safe, supportive work environment for staff and patients.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in Behavioral Health.
  • Behavioral hospital experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in Med-Surg hospital and system environments is a plus.
  • Passion for superior clinical outcomes, patient and staff safety, satisfaction, and partner relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures timely, relevant, and accurate financial information is provided to the corporate office.
  • Strives to enhance hospital visibility by engaging with the community regarding mental health and substance abuse needs.
  • Supervises the Leadership Team and functions as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees.
  • Meets or exceeds facility budget expectations.
  • Collaborates with medical staff on maintaining a high level of service and quality medical care.
  • Assures adequate supervision and evaluation processes for all staff members and delegates these responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Provides positive guest relations, ensures an attractive and well-maintained physical plant, and ensures a professional and courteous hospital staff.
  • Expresses ideas effectively in individual, public, and group situations and works collaboratively to find solutions to problems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
  • 5 years of successful healthcare management experience, preferably as a Behavioral Health facility CEO/COO.
  • Behavioral hospital experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Preferred degree in Business, Healthcare Operations/Management, or a clinical discipline.
  • Med-Surg hospital and system experience, including for-profit and non-profit environments, is a plus.
  • Passion for superior clinical outcomes/programs, patient and staff safety, satisfaction, and partner relationships required.
