Spring Grove Recovery Center in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the residential substance use disorder treatment facility. The CEO will drive financial performance, patient census growth, regulatory compliance, employee performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate is a strategic healthcare leader with strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive operational success.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of senior healthcare leadership with direct P&L and budget management.
• Proven success in census growth, financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical documentation, medical necessity, and patient care standards.
• Experience overseeing admissions, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily facility operations, staffing and budgeting.
• Maintain P&L accountability and financial sustainability.

Annual Salary: $160,000 – $180,000

Position Overview

Spring Grove Recovery Center is seeking an experienced, results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the operations of our residential substance use disorder treatment facility. The CEO will be responsible for financial performance, patient census growth, regulatory compliance, employee performance, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate is a strategic healthcare leader with strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, financial performance, and patient services.
• Maintain full accountability for profit and loss (P&L), operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase patient census, admissions, and facility occupancy.
• Lead and hold department heads accountable for performance, productivity, and organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Colorado regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and nursing leadership to maintain patient safety, quality care, and positive treatment outcomes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), patient satisfaction, employee retention, and operational performance.
• Support marketing, referral development, and community partnerships to promote facility growth.
• Foster a professional, positive, and accountable workplace culture.
• Provide executive oversight during urgent facility matters, including on-call availability as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of senior healthcare leadership experience with direct P&L and budget management responsibilities.
• Proven success in census growth, financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical documentation, medical necessity, and patient care standards.
• Experience overseeing admissions, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must also meet at least ONE of the following:
• 3+ years in residential behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment leadership.
• 5+ years in non-behavioral residential healthcare leadership.
• 3+ years overseeing multi-site behavioral health outpatient operations.
• 3+ years leading an inpatient hospital or acute care facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Previous experience as a CEO, Executive Director, or Facility Administrator.
• Knowledge of Colorado behavioral health regulations and The Joint Commission standards.
• Demonstrated success improving census, profitability, employee engagement, and patient satisfaction.
