Opportunity

Laguna Healthcare Corporation, a tribally chartered nonprofit healthcare organization serving the Pueblo of Laguna in Laguna, New Mexico, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and help shape its long‑term strategic direction. The organization provides comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and preventive health services to the community it serves.

Position

The Chief Executive Officer will work closely with the Board of Directors to deliver quality healthcare services while executing its long‑term strategic plan. The CEO will assist the Board in setting the future path of the organization and is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the corporation, including oversight of a School Based Health Center, Community Health Clinic, financial management, programming and community engagement. This position also is tasked with expanding LHC’s services to include a dental clinic and other specialty services such as Obstetrics/Gynecology, Maternal Health, Audiology, Podiatry, Nephrology and Pediatrics.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field from an accredited college or university required.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• American College of Healthcare Executives certification preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of senior‑level leadership experience; experience in an Indian Health Service or Tribal Clinic healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
• Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
