Job summary

EASA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to serve as President & CEO, shaping the association’s future by leading strategic initiatives and programs. This role will partner with the Board of Directors and guide staff to expand impact and achieve the organization’s vision.

The position offers a base salary of $200,000 – $225,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package, with the preference to work from the St. Louis, Missouri office (Olivette area).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of ten years of executive leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and volunteer leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (≈15%).
• Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; ability to act as an industry expert.
• CAE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization.
• Lead organizational change to execute the strategic plan.
• Identify opportunities to expand member services and programs.
• Develop and lead 20+ staff to implement programs and services.
• Manage business affairs including legal, financial, and vendors.
• Ensure strong governance and board relations.
• Oversee budget and fiscal status.
• Provide executive leadership for conferences and events.
• Represent the organization as a leader within the industry.
