Job Description

• The Chief Estimator works to prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects
• Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities.
• Oversee a team of estimators
• Assist in performing value engineering of new or alternate materials, means and methods of construction.
• Assist in soliciting or qualifying and qualify proposals from suppliers and / or subcontractors; participate in the procurement process, as directed
• Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 8+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor
• Bachelor's degree in construction or finance field preferred
• Experience leading an estimating team
• Conceptual, hard bid, negotiated, and design build estimating experience strongly preferred
