About Our Client

Our client is a respected Design Build firm, who is strategically looking to grow in 2025. They are looking to add someone who can lead them in this growth. They have a strong background commercial projects to include health care or medical office, and are expanding into academic and hospitality.

Job Description

The Chief Estimator has the following duties :

• Procure and assess an adequate number of subcontractor proposals to complete estimates
• Prepare and develop detailed scope documents
• Attend project walk-throughs, must be willing to travel to sites within the Northeast (travel expense compensation provided)
• Participate in industry related networking events and organizations

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for Chief Estimator will have the following qualifications :

• 8-15 Years of industry experience in preconstruction
• Commercial construction and design-build experience
• Personal Subcontractor and Vendor network developed over industry career
• Experience in warehousing and industrial work
• Hospitality, academic work is a plus
