Job summary

Capgemini in Chicago, IL, seeks a Senior Architect at Director level to lead enterprise cloud and AI architectures. You will champion technical excellence, design scalable blueprints, and advise executive clients across industries.

You will collaborate with hyperscaler partners, drive innovations, and guide multi-year roadmaps while managing diverse, multicultural teams. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 16+ years IT experience.
• 6+ years in an Architect capacity.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, IAF, NIST, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Domain experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Life Sciences, Telecoms, Media, Hi-Tech, or Energy & Utilities.
• Advanced cloud and AI capabilities across modern platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex enterprise migrations and transformations across Data, Analytics, and AI.
• Design enterprise-scale blueprints: Data Lake Medallion, event-driven, domain-driven, modular microservices.
• Lead presales, write high-impact proposals, and engineer reusable IT frameworks and accelerators.
• Act as an enterprise advisor to course-correct architectures and salvage delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, Databricks, SAP; represent Capgemini at events.
• Drive innovation in Cloud, Data Analytics, and AI; publish articles and raise profile.
• Establish multi-year roadmaps; manage executive expectations and cross-team collaboration.
