Job summary

DZYNE Technologies, recently merged into Ondas Sentinel, seeks a Vice President of Engineering in Irvine, CA. This on-site role leads a functional engineering team, shaping technical strategy and ensuring successful aerospace and defense program deliveries.

You will recruit and develop top engineers, partner with senior leadership on long-term resource and financial plans, and enforce design standards across all product interfaces and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 15+ years of aerospace and defense or vehicle system development.
• 5+ years in a senior role leading DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a functional engineering team solving critical problems today.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent with accountability culture.
• Work with senior leadership on long-term resource and financial plans.
• Partner with business lines on resource planning, scope, scheduling, and execution.
• Own engineering process development training and enforcement across the lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain a design standard and tool/library base.
