Job summary

Outbound Park City seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team, overseeing maintenance, repair, and operation of all facilities to ensure safety, comfort, and exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires managing life safety and security systems, preventative maintenance programs, and capital improvements, while guiding a skilled team to uphold the resort’s high standards in a premier Park City location.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of leadership experience in facilities management or comparable property.
• Experience in preventative maintenance of public areas, guestrooms, and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facility and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and materials.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms and life-safety events.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
• Oversee life safety and security systems and capital projects.
• Negotiate contracts with consultants and contractors.
• Produce annual operating budgets for payroll, expenses, utilities, and capex.
• Direct ADA compliance efforts of the property.
