cFocus Software seeks a Chief Engineer/Lead Architect to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency. This on-site position is in the Washington DC, MD, and VA area and requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.

The role provides technical leadership and architectural direction for development and modernization efforts, with emphasis on secure cloud-native solutions and CI/CD pipelines. Applicants should have a B.S.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance required.
• B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Senior-level experience architecting and delivering secure cloud-native solutions (PaaS) and CI/CD pipelines in federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Define system architectures, technical standards, and integration strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advise on adoption.
• Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise security requirements and mission objectives.
• Lead technical reviews, resolve complex issues, and mentor engineering staff.
• Represent technical capabilities to Government stakeholders and senior leadership.
