AWS seeks a detail-oriented individual to join the Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) team, responsible for maintaining critical physical infrastructure and ensuring 100% availability of mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety equipment.
As the DCEO Chief Engineer (CE), you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operates at peak efficiency, managing planned preventive maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response. You will serve as a technical expert, reporting to the Data Center Facility Manager and coordinating with Engineering Operations Technicians (EOT) and third‑party vendors. You will manage small‑to‑medium impacting projects from conception to completion, collaborating with engineering, automation, processing, and finance teams.
