Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering or enterprise architecture leadership.
• Experience delivering large-scale software or platform environments.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, hybrid/multi-cloud, and security-focused design.
• Proven DevSecOps, CI/CD, secure software development, and cybersecurity architecture.
• Experience with RMF/NIST controls and authorization frameworks (cATO/ATO).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, container security, identity, and network segmentation.
• Leadership for AI/ML or Generative AI in secure/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and engineering strategy for a complex, multi-platform environment.
• Govern a platform-of-platforms architecture with standards and interfaces.
• Develop cloud-agnostic, hybrid, multi-region architectures across security environments.
• Lead architecture reviews and enforce engineering standards across distributed teams.
• Integrate security, compliance tooling, and RMF/NIST controls into pipelines.
• Provide leadership for AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities with governance and guardrails.
• Translate architecture into executable engineering plans and drive MVP delivery.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a high-performing organization.
• Communicate and defend technical decisions to senior government and customers.
