Job summary

Red Jacket Resorts in Massachusetts is seeking a facilities and maintenance leader to oversee the physical operations of our resorts, including building and equipment maintenance, HVAC, water treatment, and pool systems. You will manage a team of maintenance workers and drive efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in roles leading and managing teams of 6 or more.
• Excellent knowledge of high transaction environments, distributed workflows, and web platform architectures.
• Driven, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Creative and efficient in solving complex, time‑critical problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical operations of the resorts, including maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems, and swimming pool
• Lead, manage, and empower a team of maintenance workers
• Expert knowledge of at least one application discipline, along with the ability to learn new technologies based on business needs
• Sound analytical skills to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them
• Ability to set the right hiring standards within the company and successfully recruit new engineers to build out the team
• Train and develop management and technical leaders within your groups
