Job summary

La Posada de Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Engineering leader to manage and supervise hotel facilities and maintenance operations on site in Santa Fe, NM. The role ensures preventive maintenance, life-safety, and compliance with standards.

You will oversee staff, coordinate repairs, and maintain the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, and related utilities to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance technician role.
• EPA Universal Certification – Required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) – Required.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience – Preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, laundry machinery, and AV/security systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all Engineering staff and the maintenance of the hotel.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of all property equipment and systems.
• Monitor life safety systems and utilities; ensure compliance with corporate/franchise standards and local codes.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

In this role, you will be managing and supervising all of Engineering staff and the maintaining and maintenance of the hotel. You will supervise the implementation of all property equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitoring life safety systems and utilities and administering the department in compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates. Preventive maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc.
