Goldenrod Services in Omaha seeks a Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and operations of our commercial building assets. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems, directing staff and coordinating with vendors to deliver reliable performance.

The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing building systems and maintenance operations for Goldenrod Services’ property assets in the Omaha area. This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical expertise across building systems, a proactive approach to facility performance, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Facilities, the Chief Engineer leads the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety systems across assigned properties. This role ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements while driving efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and cost-effective operations. The Chief Engineer also supervises maintenance staff, manages vendors, and plays a key role in long-term asset performance and capital planning.
