Peregrine Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and guest comfort. You will oversee preventive maintenance, major projects, and budgeting while directing a skilled team and engaging with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
This role requires strong leadership, PM expertise, and experience managing projects in a hotel setting, with flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance of the building. As a department head, this position directs and works with employees to successfully execute all engineering operations, including proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, life safety, electrical and mechanical equipment/systems. Works to establish a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
2+ yrs of experience as a Director or Engineering Manager, preferable in a hotel or multi-unit residential setting.
Strong knowledge of Preventive Maintenance programs.
Prior experience managing vendor relationships and sourcing project bids.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Certifications are a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 annually plus incentive eligibility based on performance.
