Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, planning, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in development services, planning and zoning, or related municipal field.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates operations of the Engineering Services Department.
• Oversees development review and building permit matters for compliance.
• Advises City Manager and officials on development and land use.
• Prepares staff reports and presentations to boards and City Council.
• Prepares and monitors department budget and grant programs.
