WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW :

The Regional Chief Development Officer (RCDO) will be responsible for strengthening and growing the donor base and development program within the Kansas-Oklahoma region to meet financial goals. You will lead staff and leadership volunteers in planning, managing, and implementing fundraising strategies, representing the region to cultivate donors and sponsors, and supporting the Regional Executive to foster a revenue-oriented culture.

• Develop and execute annual and multi-year fundraising strategies.
• Lead growth by working directly with top donor prospects.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors at the $5,000 level or higher.
• Act as a senior leader and direct the Regional Development team.
• Achieve or exceed fundraising targets and manage expenses.
• Cultivate relationships with corporations and foundations, and collaborate with national headquarters.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $120,000, with eligibility for an incentive plan based on performance.

This job will be posted for at least five business days, with extensions if needed.

Note that salaries are aligned to geographic location, with other factors like skills and experience considered.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of fundraising leadership experience or equivalent.
• Experience with diverse constituencies and broad-based fundraising programs.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• 7 years of management experience.
• Effective communication skills and familiarity with office and fundraising software.
• Ability to travel frequently, including within two states and occasionally to Washington, DC.
• Hybrid work environment (50/50).
• Preferred residence in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.

Physical Requirements :
