Job Title: Chief Development Officer (CDO) – Distributed Generation & Community Solar

Location: Remote (East Coast preferred)

Travel: Occasional travel to key markets and HQ as needed

Compensation: $225,000–$275,000 base+ bonus

With a growing national footprint and a healthy, high-quality pipeline, they’re looking for an experienced leader to own development strategy, scale the team, and drive projects from origination through NTP.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and build the project development team — vision, structure, and execution
• Oversee development of a huge pipeline from post-origination through NTP
• Drive permitting, interconnection, land use strategy, and local engagement
• Collaborate closely with Origination, Finance, and act as part of the executive team
• Standardize processes to accelerate timelines and reduce risk
• Mentor and hire high-performing developers and managers
• Support M&A and strategic partnerships as needed
