Job summary

The Autism Treatment Center is seeking a dynamic Director of Development to lead fundraising and expand philanthropy. You will build a culture of giving and collaborate with the CEO, Board, and staff to advance the Center’s mission of providing high-quality services to individuals with autism and their families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, marketing, public relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive fundraising/development experience.
  • Proven success in individual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, or other philanthropic fundraising.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Experience with donor databases/CRM systems and development reporting.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Passion for the mission of supporting individuals with autism and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual and multi-year development strategy.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of major donors and individual giving.
  • Oversee high-quality grant proposals, reports, and donor communications.
  • Develop corporate partnerships and community sponsorship opportunities.
  • Lead donor stewardship, campaigns, events, and communications planning.
  • Provide fundraising training and updates to the Board and leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and development dashboards.
