Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology, corrections, social work, psychology, sociology, or JD.
• Five years of full-time supervisory experience in probation/corrections or equivalent.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of supervisory experience.
• All applicants must meet Peace Officer standards under Government Code §1031.

Responsibilities

• Formulates strategic plans for rehabilitation of clients and ensures staff safety.
• Develops staff, assists CPO in budget preparation, and manages resources.
• Promotes staff wellness, engagement, and professional development.
• Oversees personnel management, internal affairs, and policy compliance.
• Represents department with other agencies and coordinates with city leadership.
