Job summary

Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, NM, seeks a RAD Chief Data Steward to lead data governance and data quality across the judiciary. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliable reporting to support decision‑making and statewide initiatives.

The position reports to the Reporting & Analytics Division Director and requires collaboration with court leadership, IT, and legal teams. Finalists may undergo background checks and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive experience in enterprise data management and governance.
• Experience implementing data governance, metadata, and data quality standards.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce enterprise data governance standards and processes.
• Lead data governance initiatives to improve data quality, accessibility, and security.
• Collaborate with judges, staff, and IT on data definitions and reporting.
• Provide training on data governance and data literacy to stakeholders.
• Monitor measures and reporting on data governance effectiveness and compliance.
