Job summary

Attain is seeking a VP of Data Science to lead the methodology behind our data products and to defend the science in client conversations. You will set standards for defensible measures, own census balancing, attribution, and incrementality, and partner across product, engineering, and commercial teams.

You will guide a team of data scientists, work with external consultants, and translate complex methods into actionable business recommendations for clients and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science within AdTech/MarTech, including team leadership.
• Senior level measurement science or methodology experience in advertising tech.
• Advanced degree or equivalent depth in quantitative fields.
• Experience presenting modeling approaches to clients or regulators.
• Strong Python and modern ML/statistical tooling; comfortable in cloud stacks.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standards for measuring impact and validating data.
• Own the modeling behind products, including attribution and incrementality.
• Document core calculation standards and ensure defensible implementations.
• Represent Attain's methodology to engineering, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
• Translate advanced methods into product decisions and roadmaps for business teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and ML leadership on modeling infrastructure and standards.
• Develop and lead the data science team; manage external consultants when needed.
