Ookla seeks a VP of Data Innovation & Products, a senior leader reporting to the CDAO, to define and execute strategy for external data products, APIs, DaaS, and data marketplace positioning. You will lead cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, product, engineering, and analytics to bring data products to market.

This role operates in a hybrid environment with approximately 25% travel to support stakeholder engagement, commercial planning, product strategy, and team collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in data products, product management, data commercialization, or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of senior product leadership experience with P&L exposure or revenue accountability.
• Experience launching and scaling data-as-a-service, API-based, or marketplace data products at enterprise scale.
• Certifications in product management or data strategy preferred.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute Ookla's data product and innovation strategy, spanning external data products, APIs, DaaS offerings, and marketplace positioning.
• Lead the full innovation lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through commercial launch and ongoing optimization.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and product leadership to develop go-to-market strategies for data products and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee Ookla's data marketplace strategy, external-facing API portfolio, and data licensing and packaging decisions.
• Identify and evaluate new data monetization opportunities grounded in market, customer, and competitive insights.
• Build a culture of data product thinking, treating data as a first-class commercial asset across the CDAO organization.
• Collaborate with VP of Data Architecture and VP of AI, ML & Analytics to ensure product-data-technology alignment.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data product managers and innovation practitioners
