Job summary

The Ohio Department of Veterans Services seeks a Chief Data Officer in Columbus to lead the agency's data governance, analytics, and performance reporting. You will shape a modern data environment, set data standards, and drive data quality, privacy, and security across the enterprise.

As head of the Performance Shop, you will manage project managers, establish KPI cycles, and deliver standardized dashboards.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience in data management or related field.
• Two or more years in performance management; PMP preferred.
• Two or more years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience in Data Management, Continuous Improvement, Strategic Planning.
• Travel up to 25% of the time between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data and performance division; oversee governance, analytics, and reporting.
• Build a modern data environment to support data-driven decisions.
• Direct data standards, system architecture coordination, and data quality practices.
• Lead Performance Shop; coordinate project managers for KPI and quarterly reviews.
• Oversee enterprise performance dashboards and standardized reporting.
