The Chief Data and Technology Strategist (CDTS) serves as the university’s senior executive responsible for advancing institutional effectiveness through strategic leadership of emerging technologies, information technology, institutional research, enterprise data governance, and analytics. As a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, the CDTS collaborates with executive leadership to align technology, data strategy, and operational priorities with the university’s mission, strategic plan, enrollment goals, student success initiatives, and fiscal sustainability. The CDTS provides leadership for enterprise systems, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and data-informed decision-making. This position fosters a culture of ingenuity, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of institutional data.
Chancellor
Minimum compensation of $170,000
Some travel is required for necessary meetings, workshops, conferences, etc. Occasional evening and and/or weekend work is expected and will be assigned by supervisor as needed. This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request. The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs. Position is a full-time Limited appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.
